Dr. Ashmead set up Mykon after identifying the potential for a range of striking architectural products that used light as a design resource.
He had already produced aluminium honeycomb for a number of other industries.
Today, Dr. Ashmead continues to run the company, ensuring the same amount of care is bestowed on each individual Mykon panel.
Roman is the face of Mykon, and deals with different people every day, from architects to interior designers and artists. He works closely alongside other departments including the product development team.
Roman has a wide range of technical knowledge. His understanding of the composite materials and interior design fields is gained through several years of relevant experience in sales and a degree in economics.
Lyndsay’s wide knowledge of language (she speaks English, French, Spanish and German and is currently learning Polish) makes her a great person to work at Mykon. She helps people all over the world to understand how Mykon works best with their design projects.
More than ten years’ experience in online and offline marketing gives Sharon a great knowledge of different market requirements.
Sharon works closely with the product development team, and is responsible for overseeing projects such as the recent launch of Mykon’s new ‘printed panels’ range.
